Terms of Service
Please read these terms before using logve.
Established: October 12, 2026Last updated: October 12, 2026
Article 1About these terms
These Terms of Service ("these terms") set out how to use logve, provided by paul. ("the operator"), and the rules between the operator and users.
Please use logve only after agreeing to these terms and the Privacy Policy. The relevant parts of these terms also apply to people who only view cards without logging in.
Any specific rules or notes shown within logve also form part of these terms.
The Japanese version of these terms is authoritative. The English version is a translation for reference.
Article 2Definitions
- "logve": the service provided by the operator for logging the works you love and your oshi and handing them over as cards (including the website and the version added to your home screen)
- "Users": everyone who uses logve (including people who do not log in)
- "Registered users": people who log in to logve with a Google account
- "Cards": the screens that registered users create for each mode and show to others
- "Posted content": text, images, and other information registered users put into logve (card names and quotes, highlights, names of works or people entered by hand, images, Chawa notes, and so on)
Article 3Beta
logve is currently provided as a beta. Features, screens, storage limits, and so on may change without notice. Because bugs may remain, please also keep important data on your own device using export.
Article 4Who can use logve
- logve is for people aged 13 and over. People under 13 cannot register.
- If you are under 18, please read these terms with your parent or guardian and get their consent before using logve.
- You need a Google account to register. When you first log in, we ask you to confirm that you are 13 or older.
- If we learn that a person under 13 has registered, the operator may delete that account.
Article 5Accounts and IDs
- Only the person who registered may use an account. Do not let others use it or transfer it.
- You are responsible for managing the Google account you use to log in. The operator never receives your password.
- You can change your ID (the text used in your card's URL) up to once every 30 days. For 90 days after a change, your new card also opens from the old ID's URL. After that, others may take the old ID.
- For 180 days after you leave logve and your data is deleted, no one can use your former ID (to prevent impersonation).
- We may ask you to change an ID or name that could be confused with another person or organization, or that infringes someone's rights.
Article 6Cards and who can see them
- Registered users choose, for each mode, what appears on their card and who can see it: "Public", "Friends only", or "Only me".
- A "Friends only" card can be opened by anyone who knows its URL. Be careful who you give the URL or QR code to.
- "Public" cards may appear in search engines, or in lists within logve in future versions.
- Once you have shown something to others, the operator cannot stop them from taking screenshots or writing it down. Do not put anything on your card that you do not want others to see.
Article 7Card holder and notifications
- When you keep someone's card in your card holder, the card's owner is notified of the name on your card. If the owner can see your card, the notification also includes a way to open it.
- If someone keeps your card while you have the hand-over screen open, their name also appears on your screen.
- Your card holder keeps a reference to the other person's card, not a copy. If they change who can see it or leave logve, you can no longer open it from your card holder.
- Once you keep a card, you can see its background image and any images the owner has chosen to show to card keepers. If you remove it from your card holder, you can no longer see them.
- Chawa records and notes can be seen only by the person who wrote them.
Article 8Posted content
- Rights to posted content (such as copyright) remain with the user who created it or the original rights holder. The operator does not take over those rights.
- Users grant the operator, free of charge, permission to store, copy, resize, and display posted content to the extent needed to provide and improve logve, for example by storing images at a smaller size or showing them on the screens of people who view a card.
- Users who add an image grant the operator a non-exclusive, free license to store, copy, resize, transmit, and display it to the extent needed to show it on the screens of their card keepers. This license ends when the user deletes the image (or, for showing it to card keepers, when the user turns off "Show to card keepers").
- Highlights and card quotes can be seen by anyone who can see that card.
- Card background images can be seen only by you and by logged-in users who have kept that card in their card holder. People who haven't kept the card yet, or aren't logged in, see the card without the image.
- Names of works and people entered by hand are visible to other users and may appear in search suggestions. They remain after you leave logve, in a form that does not show who registered them.
- Your own images (images you add to works or oshi) can at first be seen only by you. If you turn on "Show to card keepers" for a ticket image, logged-in users who have kept a card that shows that work or oshi can also see it. Large images shown at the top of a page can be seen only by you.
Article 9Responsibility for posts
Users are responsible for the content they post (images, quotes, highlights, names, and so on). When you use images or text created by others, check for yourself that you have the rights holder's permission or that the use is allowed by law.
Users who add an image warrant to the operator that they own the rights to it or may otherwise lawfully use it (for example, with the rights holder's permission), and that adding it to logve and showing it to card keepers does not infringe anyone else's rights (such as copyright, portrait rights, or privacy).
If a dispute with others arises from your posted content, resolve it at your own responsibility.
Article 10Removal requests and reports
- If you believe content on logve infringes your rights (such as copyright, portrait rights, or privacy), contact us at info@logve.app and include the following.
- (1) The work you claim is infringed (which work, and which part)
- (2) The URL of the card concerned and where the image or text is (for example, which work's or oshi's ticket)
- (3) The right you claim is infringed and why
- (4) Your contact details (email address)
- (5) A statement that the information is accurate and that you are the rights holder or their agent
- (6) Your name (and, if you are an agent, the rights holder's name)
- Reports about content or behavior that breaks these terms are accepted at the same address.
- The operator reviews the matter and, if the infringement is clear, hides or deletes the content.
- Otherwise, we tell the user who posted it what infringement was claimed (items (1) to (3) above) and ask whether they agree to it being hidden or deleted. If they have not told us they disagree within 7 days of being asked, we hide or delete the content. If they disagree, we review both sides before deciding.
- Where possible, we let both the person who made the request or report and the user who posted the content know what we did.
- We do not give the contact details of the person who made a request or report to the user who posted the content without that person's consent (except where required by law).
Article 11Prohibited conduct
Do not do any of the following on logve.
- Impersonating others (including creating names, IDs, or cards that cannot be told apart from a real person, organization, or another user)
- Infringing others' rights, such as copyright, trademarks, portrait rights, or privacy
- Harassing, threatening, discriminating against, or defaming others
- Posting others' personal information, such as addresses or phone numbers, without their consent
- Posting obscene images or text, or extremely violent images or text
- Spam (advertising, solicitation, repeated identical content, or other uses unrelated to logve's purpose)
- Unauthorized access (using someone else's account, exploiting weaknesses in the system, or reading or sending large amounts of data by means other than those the operator provides)
- Placing excessive load on logve or other users, or interfering with its operation
- Acts that break the law or public order and morals, or that lead to crime
- Anything else similar to the above that the operator judges inappropriate
Article 12Suspension
If a user breaks these terms, or the operator judges that this is highly likely, the operator may do the following without prior notice.
- Hide or delete some or all of the posted content
- Make cards unviewable
- Suspend or delete the account
Users who repeatedly post content that infringes others' rights may be prevented from adding images, or have their account suspended or deleted.
When we take such action, we will let you know where possible, through notifications in logve or the email address you registered.
Article 13External services
- You log in with a Google account. Google's terms and privacy policy apply to your Google account.
- Suggestions for works and people come from Wikidata. Wikidata is edited by contributors around the world, and the operator does not guarantee its accuracy.
- Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts.
- If an external service stops or changes, parts of logve may become unavailable.
Article 14Leaving logve and deleting data
- Registered users can leave logve at any time from "Delete account and data" in Settings.
- When you leave, you are logged out on all devices, and your cards immediately stop opening for anyone. They also disappear from other people's card holders.
- After a 30-day grace period, we delete the data you registered with logve. If you log in again within 30 days, your request is canceled and everything is restored.
- After 30 days, it cannot be undone. Export any data you want to keep before you leave.
- What remains after deletion (names of works and people entered by hand, aggregate counts that do not show whose they are, and so on) is described in the Privacy Policy.
Article 15Exporting your data
Registered users can use "Export your data" in Settings to save their profile (ID, name, email address, and so on), the works they love and their oshi, highlights and rankings, modes and cards, card holder, shelves, Chawa records and notes, and their own images in a single ZIP file. The exported file is saved on your device, and you are responsible for managing it.
Article 16Changes, interruption, and end of the service
- The operator may change logve, add new features, or discontinue some features.
- We may suspend logve temporarily without notice for maintenance, failures, outages of external services, disasters, and similar reasons.
- If we end logve, we will announce it in logve as early as possible (as a rule, at least 30 days before the end date) and provide a period in which you can export your data.
Article 17Warranties and liability
- logve is a beta and is provided as is. The operator does not guarantee that logve is free of bugs, always available, fit for a particular purpose, or that data will never be lost.
- The operator is not responsible for interactions or disputes between users, or for the actions of people who view cards.
- The operator is not liable for damage users suffer in connection with logve, except where it is caused by the operator's intent or negligence.
- Where damage is caused by the operator's negligence (other than gross negligence), the operator's liability is limited to direct damage that would normally occur.
Article 18Changes to these terms
- The operator may change these terms when necessary.
- Before a change takes effect, we will announce the new terms and the date they take effect through notifications in logve (logve updates) and on this page. Changes that significantly affect users will be announced well in advance.
- If you use logve after the effective date, you are deemed to have agreed to the changed terms.
Article 19How we contact each other
- The operator contacts users through notifications in logve, notices on this website, or email to the registered address.
- Users can contact the operator by email at info@logve.app. The operator replies personally, so replies may take some time.
Article 20Governing law and jurisdiction
- These terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
- Any dispute between the operator and a user regarding logve is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
- If any part of these terms is held invalid by law, the remaining parts stay in effect.
